RAIL SERVICE
Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) operates rapid transit trains between O’Hare Airport to downtown Chicago and Midway Airport to Downtown Chicago. Please contact the CTA at (312) 836-700 for more information.
Rail Service between O’Hare and Downtown Chicago
Travel time is approximately 40 minutes and costs $2.25 (No Transfer). Trains leave from inside the terminal on the lower level every 5 to 10 minutes day evenings, and every 30 minuets from 1:00am to 5:00am. From the Jackson Stop downtown, a short taxi ride ($6-10) will be required to get to the hotel.
Rail Service Between Midway and Downtown Chicago
Travel time is Approximately 30 minutes and costs $2.25 (No Transfer). Trains leave from a station connected to the east side of the airport.
When arriving from either airport, few hotels are within walking distance of downtown stops. A short taxi ride will be required to get to the hotel.

Public Transportation
From O’Hare take the Blue Line EL from terminal #2 to the Jackson subway stop. Walk 3 blocks east to Michigan Ave. Board the #3M.L.K South to McCormick Place. Travel time 1.5 hours to 1.75 hours.
From Midway take the Orange Line EL from ticketing on level 2 to the Roosevelt stop. Walk 2 blocks east to Michigan Ave. turn left onto Michigan Ave to the #3M.L.K Bus stop. Board the #3 M.L.K bus south to McCormick Place. Travel Time 1 hour - 1.5 hours.
Cost: $2.25 train, $2.25 bus
